Liability & Assumption of Risk Waiver

Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

This Liability Waiver applies to all individuals who apply for, book, or participate in ski instructor training programmes facilitated by Progression Solutions FZCO.

By submitting an application, paying a management fee, or participating in a programme facilitated by Progression Solutions FZCO, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Role of Progression Solutions FZCO

Progression Solutions FZCO acts solely as an independent programme facilitator and agent.

We assist participants with:

  • programme information

  • consultation and guidance

  • administrative support

  • communication with training providers

Progression Solutions FZCO does not operate, manage, or deliver ski training programmes directly.

All training activities, mountain operations, accommodation services, and instruction are provided by independent third-party providers, including but not limited to Rookie Academy Lake Wanaka Limited.

2. Inherent Risks of Skiing and Mountain Activities

Participation in skiing, snowboarding, and mountain activities involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to:

  • falls and collisions

  • avalanches and changing snow conditions

  • equipment malfunction

  • weather changes

  • lift operations

  • terrain hazards

  • physical exertion and fatigue

  • serious injury or death

By participating in any programme, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities, whether known or unknown.

3. Medical Responsibility

Participants confirm that they:

  • are physically capable of participating in mountain sports

  • have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe

  • accept full responsibility for their own health and wellbeing during the programme.

Participants are responsible for seeking medical advice prior to participation if required.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless:

  • Progression Solutions FZCO

  • its directors, representatives, and agents

from any liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from participation in programmes facilitated by Progression Solutions FZCO.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • injury

  • illness

  • property damage

  • financial loss

  • travel disruption.

All operational responsibility remains with the programme provider delivering the training.

5. Insurance Requirement

Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive insurance covering:

  • travel cancellation

  • medical treatment

  • skiing and snow sports

  • evacuation and repatriation.

Progression Solutions FZCO is not responsible for any losses that would normally be covered by insurance.

6. Acceptance of Risk

By submitting an application or payment through this website, you confirm that:

  • you understand the risks involved in mountain sports

  • you voluntarily accept those risks

  • you release Progression Solutions FZCO from liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.
