PEAK SKI PERFORMANCE CAMP Hintertux Glacier · Tyrol, Austria 4–9 May 2027 · 6 Days Skiing · Max 7 Skiers · €2,300 per person Arrive 3 May · Depart 10 May
Your skiing has a ceiling. This camp finds it — and then shows you exactly why it is there.
Every skier who reaches an advanced level carries the same invisible problem.
One side works better than the other. One turn feels natural, one feels forced. One hip moves freely, one resists. One edge holds cleanly, one skids slightly in the same conditions. You have adapted to these asymmetries so thoroughly that they feel normal — but they are not normal. They are physical limitations that show up in your skiing as technical problems, and no amount of technical coaching will fix them because the problem is not in your technique.
It is in your body.
World cup racers have known this for decades. They have physios, fitness coaches and movement specialists who screen them, identify their asymmetries and build programmes to correct them — coordinated with their technical training so that the physical and the technical work together rather than separately.
Until now that level of coordinated analysis was not available to anyone outside elite sport.
This camp changes that.

What This Camp Actually Does
Six days on the Hintertux Glacier — one of the finest glaciers in the Alps — with three specialists working on you simultaneously. On the slope, in the gym and on the physio table. Coordinated deliberately so that what we find in the gym explains what we see on the video and what we work on technically is supported by what Jetske addresses in the evening.
The process works like this.
Day one — The screening Before you ski a single run Ken and Jetske conduct a comprehensive physical assessment. Mobility, strength, balance and — critically — differences between your left and right sides. Every measurement, every test, every asymmetry recorded precisely. This is your physical picture.
Day one and two — The technical assessment On the slope I watch you ski. Every turn shape, every terrain type, every condition the glacier offers. I film everything and I analyse it technically. This is your skiing picture.
Day three — The connection This is the session that makes the Peak Performance Camp unlike anything else I offer.
We sit together — you, me, Ken and Jetske — and we connect the two pictures. The physical screening and the video analysis side by side. The asymmetry in your hip mobility that Ken measured on arrival is the reason your left carving turn loses edge at the same point every time. The strength difference between your left and right leg that Jetske identified is the reason your short turn rhythm breaks down on steeper terrain always in the same direction.
For the first time you see your skiing not as a collection of technical problems to be coached away but as the logical output of a specific physical body with specific limitations — limitations that have names, measurements and solutions.
That moment of clarity is worth the trip to Hintertux on its own.
Days four, five and six — Building on what we know The final days of skiing are different because we ski them with complete information. The technical coaching is targeted precisely at the patterns we identified. The fitness sessions address the specific asymmetries that produce those patterns. The physio sessions support the physical changes we are asking your body to make. Everything coordinates. Everything compounds.
The Three Months After Hintertux
The camp does not end when you leave the glacier.
You leave with a personalised programme built by Ken and Jetske around your specific screening results and informed by the technical work across the six days. Ski-specific fitness training, mobility work, asymmetry correction exercises, recovery protocols — all designed to continue closing the gaps we identified on the mountain.
For three months after the camp you have access to online follow-up with Ken and Jetske. Videos, exercise programmes, progress check-ins. The work continues with professional guidance until the next ski season begins.
And we include nutrition and health education as part of the programme — not generic advice but guidance specific to the physical demands of serious skiing and the recovery that makes sustained improvement possible.
This is what the world cup support structure looks like. You now have access to it.
The Three Coaches
Geri Tumbasz — Ski Technical Coach
Austrian Staatlicher Level 4. Hungarian Level 4. Formally recognised by the Italian Maestro di Sci programme, IASI Ireland at Level 4 and PSIA USA at Level 3. Three Interski Congresses — Cran-Montana 2003, St. Anton am Arlberg 2011, Pamporovo 2019. Two IVSI Congresses — Lech-Zürs and Hakuba Japan. Member of the Austrian Telemark Demo Team and the Interski Delegation. Former examiner and coach at Snowsports Academy Austria. Thirty seasons. Twelve countries.
I coach the skiing. Every run is analysed precisely and honestly. The video review in the evenings connects what happened on the slope to what we know about your body from the screening. By day six the improvement is not just visible on the screen — it is in your legs and your understanding of why it happened.
Ken Van den Eeden — Head Fitness Coach
Internationally recognised NASM Master Trainer with over twenty years of experience. Developer of professional fitness courses for the Physical Coaching Academy. Expert in skiing-specific strength, mobility, injury prevention and asymmetry correction.
Ken does not run generic fitness sessions. He screens you on arrival, identifies your physical asymmetries precisely and builds your daily programme around what he finds. The exercises you do in the afternoon are chosen specifically because of what we identified in your skiing that morning and what Jetske found on the physio table. Nothing is generic. Everything is yours.
Jetske Geerts — Physio and Relaxation Coach
Specialist in muscle recovery, movement analysis, massage and stretching techniques for ski performance. Provides personalised movement and relaxation programmes designed to help you recover faster, move more symmetrically and perform better across six consecutive days of high-volume technical skiing at altitude.
Jetske's work connects the physical screening to the daily recovery — identifying the specific patterns that need addressing each evening and ensuring that fatigue does not accumulate into compensation. Six days of serious skiing at altitude is physically demanding. Jetske makes sure day six is as productive as day one.

Where We Stay
🏔️ Hotel Neu Hintertux
Four-star accommodation steps from the gondola. A spa and wellness facility that Jetske incorporates into the recovery programme. Fine dining that fuels the days properly.
The hotel is not a convenience — it is part of the programme. The quality of recovery that happens in the evenings directly determines the quality of performance that happens on the glacier the next morning.
Accommodation is booked independently. Contact Hotel Neu Hintertux directly and mention the Snowsports Geri Peak Performance Camp. Book only after your place is confirmed.

Who This Camp Is For
Serious advanced skiers who want to understand their skiing at a level most skiers never reach — and who are ready to do the work that understanding requires.
You ski confidently on red and black terrain. You have been coached before and improved before — but there are patterns in your skiing that have resisted improvement regardless of what you tried. You have a turn that works on one side and not the other. You have a technical problem that comes back every season. You want to know why — really why — and what to do about it.
This camp is also for ski instructors and coaches who want to develop their own skiing and physical performance at the highest level, and for serious recreational skiers who train with intention and want the same support structure that elite athletes take for granted.
You do not need to be a racer. You need to be serious.
Minimum requirements:
- Confident skiing across red and black terrain
- Clean carved turns and controlled short turns
- Genuine commitment to intensive coaching across six full days
- Physical readiness for high-volume skiing at altitude
Not sure if this is the right level? Send me one run on video. I will give you an honest answer within 24 hours.
Why Now. Why Hintertux.
The Hintertux Glacier in May is one of the finest skiing environments in the Alps. Reliable snow at 3,250 metres, wide uncrowded runs and the particular atmosphere of a serious glacier in late season — when the mountain belongs to the skiers who are still working rather than the ones who have already finished for the year.
The long days at altitude in May mean we have time. Time on the slope, time in the gym, time in the evening to review and understand and plan. The programme fills the day completely and productively. Nothing is wasted.
I chose Hintertux for this camp because nothing else in the Alps gives us this combination — glacier conditions in May, altitude, reliable snow and the environment that a genuine performance programme requires.
7 Places. One Week. One Chance This Season.
There is no second edition of this camp in 2027. Seven places, one week, one glacier.
Several participants from the 2026 edition have already confirmed their return. The places that remain will not last long.
If you are serious about your skiing — if you want to know why your technique has a ceiling and what is physically holding it there — this is where that answer lives.
