PERFORMANCE WARMUP CAMP Kitzsteinhorn Glacier · Kaprun, Austria 27–30 October 2026 · 4 Days Skiing · Max 7 Skiers · €860 per person
The season doesn't start when the lifts open. It starts when you decide how serious you are.
Most skiers arrive in November having done nothing since April. They spend the first two weeks remembering how to ski. The first month finding their rhythm. By Christmas they are finally back to where they left off last spring.
This camp exists so you don't do that.
Four days on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier at the opening of the Austrian winter. Focused, structured, personally coached days on snow — combined with a physical and technical assessment that tells you exactly where you stand and exactly what your season ahead needs to look like.
You leave Kaprun with your technique recalibrated, your physical baseline established and a clear plan for the months ahead. Not a feeling. A plan.
Two Tracks. One Camp. Same Standard.
If you were at Hintertux in May:
This is your continuation. I pick up exactly where we left off.
Your technique is assessed against your May footage — not against a general benchmark, against your own previous best. Your fitness and mobility are measured against where I left you at the end of the Performance Camp. Your goals for this season are built on everything I already know about your skiing.
You spent the summer training. Now we find out what it produced.
If you are joining me for the first time:
You are equally welcome. The on-snow coaching runs to exactly the same standard. And if you want the complete picture — physical screening, mobility assessment and a personalised plan for the season — my conditioning coaches deliver that as an optional add-on.
You arrive as a new client. You leave with a baseline, a plan and a coach who knows your skiing.
What the Four Days Look Like
The Kitzsteinhorn opens early and reliably. At 3,029 metres the glacier offers consistent snow when most resorts are still waiting for winter to arrive. It is the right mountain for this moment — technical, demanding and honest about your skiing.
Each day follows a clear structure. Morning and afternoon sessions on snow with me, radio coaching active throughout so my feedback reaches you in real time — not at the lift queue, not at the end of the run. While your body still remembers what it just did.
Every afternoon ends with video. Not a highlight reel — a technical breakdown. You watch your skiing the way I watch it. You understand not just what happened but why, and what we are going to do about it the next morning.
One or two afternoons include a fitness and mobility session. This is not a fitness camp — the snow is the priority. But your body is part of your skiing and I assess it honestly. Where are you after summer? What does that mean for how you ski and how you train through the winter?
By the final evening you have a complete picture. Technical assessment. Physical baseline. A season plan built specifically around you.

Who I Want at This Camp
Advanced skiers who take their skiing seriously. You train with intention, you respond to feedback honestly and you understand that real improvement requires an accurate picture of where you actually are — not where you think you are.
You ski confidently on red and black terrain. You have clean carved turns and the ability to link short and long turns with control and rhythm. You are not coming to Kaprun for a ski holiday. You are coming to work.
Minimum requirements:
- Advanced parallel skiing on red and black slopes
- Clean carved turns on groomed terrain
- Controlled short and long turns linked with rhythm
- Confidence across varied terrain and snow conditions
- Genuine commitment to being coached
Not sure if this is the right level for you? Send me one run on video. I will give you an honest answer within 24 hours.
Why This Camp. Why Me.
I hold the Austrian Staatlicher Level 4 and the Hungarian Level 4 — the highest coaching certifications in both systems. My qualifications have been formally recognised and converted by the Italian Maestro di Sci programme, IASI Ireland at Level 4 and PSIA USA at Level 3. Five national systems. One standard.
I have represented Austria and Hungary at three Interski Congresses — Cran-Montana 2003, St. Anton 2011, Pamporovo 2019 — and two IVSI Congresses in Lech-Zürs and Hakuba Japan, as a member of the Austrian Telemark Demo Team and the Interski Delegation.
Over 30 seasons I have coached ski instructors and elite skiers across Austria, Hungary, Holland, Belgium, Russia, Georgia, Japan, China, the USA, New Zealand and Italy.
Every camp I run — at every price point, in every country — carries the same standard. Kaprun in October is no different.
7 Places.
That is the maximum. It has always been the maximum. When they are taken, registration closes.
